In 1975 Simon played in the British Youth for Christ band, “Really Free” (with Cliff Bergdahl) and then fronted: “Sea Stone”, “INTRANSIT” and “Fresh Claim”; doing hundreds of gigs across the UK and Europe. All of his musical output is published by Sea Dream Music and released through Plankton Records . Tim Harrold: 'The Art of the Diorama' and Poetry Reading

'The Art of the Diorama' is the forthcoming solo art show by Tim Harrold , as part of the 'One Beautiful World' Arts Festival, Friday 12 – Friday 26 May, St Catherine’s Church , 120 Southend Road, Wickford SS11 8EB. Tim will be exhibiting a selection of dioramas constructed over the past decade, some of which have never been seen publicly before, and some entirely new ones. He see these miniature ‘worlds in boxes’ as visual parables, lost objects with forgotten stories found and reimagined into new tales of meaning and significance. Tim Harrold is an artist who works with bric à brac, flotsam and jetsam, the discarded or misplaced along the journey of life. He finds lost objects and gives them new meaning through his three-dimensional assemblage style which brings together found and sourced elements into visual parables. Burns is a Fellow of the International Association of Astronomical Artists and seeks to foster the inquisitive joy of art and astronomy while inspiring people to the awe and beauty of space and astronomy. Hear Jackie speak about her work at ‘Unveiled’ – the arts & performance evenings in St Andrew’s Wickford - Friday 28 April, 7.00 pm. During the One Beautiful World Arts Festival this exhibition will be on show from 16-26 May.
